Final animation for the spaceship animation

Project Description

In the Sci-fi game, Solar Core, you pilot the Ignis, a strike-class vessel dispatched to breach the
outer defenses of an alien megastructure drifting through uncharted space.

Shrouded in nebula storms and orbiting a dying star, this megastructure pulses with strange
energy signatures — the remains of a forgotten war, or perhaps a dormant intelligence. With
hostile drones, decaying debris fields, and automated turrets guarding its secrets, this is a fight
for survival and discovery.

Your mission is one of speed, precision, and resilience. As you travel towards this megastructure,
you must weave through space debris, destroy corrupted sentries, and gather lost tech to
upgrade your systems. Victory lies not just in firepower, but in mastering the rhythm of
movement and making split-second choices amid the chaos of the unknown.

Based on the game description above, propose and design a digital game scene of a 2D
horizontal scroller mobile game.

My Process

Following the project brief, I researched spaceship designs, sci-fi UI, art styles and enemy designs. I then begin creating the concept art of the ship and continued research for the color scheme.

For the enemy design, I took inspiration from the Japanese spider crab for their design and name.
